Tunisia has opened procurement for a multi-site battery energy storage initiative with a cumulative capacity of 300MW and 600MWh. The state-owned utility plans to position installations across northern, central and southern sectors of the power grid, marking a significant drive to stabilise transmission infrastructure and support intermittent renewable generation.
